Journalism demands a commitment to accuracy and neutrality. It requires walking the fine line between narrating what was said and not inferring what was not. You don’t exist, only the story does. Give the reader the information in as clear a manner as possible. And if you can’t back it up with credible and verifiable sources, don’t write it down.
